ESTABLISHED IN 1999 SMITHTOWN NY.
2 GREAT LOCATIONS IN SMITHTOWN AND RONKONKOMA. Both offices are private, clean and spacious. Private treatment rooms are available at each location. Every patient receives hands-on individualized care by a licensed physical therapist (PT). Since we are owner operated, not physician owned, we need to take great care in the treatment and outcome of our patients. The majority of our referrals are from previous patients. We welcome you to call or stop by one of our facilities for a site visit. We also as always allow walk-ins and free consultations.

Thomas has worked in the rehabilition field since 1993. Clinical internships have included pediatrics, geriatrics and orthopedics. He started Optimum Physical Therapy in 1999 at the Smithtown location. A new facility in Ronkonkoma opened in 2008. Thomas has also provided the PT care at Atria Assisted Living in East Northport since 2001. He has a wealth of experience in both orthopedic and geriatrics as well as spinal manipulations (adjustments). Published for a research article in Physiotherapy Research International (VL: 11 NO: 3 PG: 125-126 YR: 2006), Thomas continues to expand his knowlege with continiung education courses.

Jennifer has trained and worked in an adult rehabilitation center, hospitals including Good Samaritan, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Columbia Presbyterian in Acute Care and Rehabilitation. She has had hospital experience in treating a vast array of injuries and diagnoses ranging from pre and post surgical, cancer, chest PT, neurological, orthopedic, wound care, musculoskeletal, and amputations. In addition she has trained in private practice offices. In private practice she has treated geriatric cases, arthritic diagnoses, neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, and sports injuries. She is also experienced with pediatric and aquatic therapy. On top of her education, Jennifer truly cares about her patients and their successful rehabilitation.
